Artist Bio: Sister Corita Kent (1918-1986) was an American artist, educator, and Catholic nun known for her vibrant screenprints that combined pop art, spiritual messages, and social activism. Based in Los Angeles for much of her career, she was a member of the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and taught art at Immaculate Heart College, where she inspired a generation of students with her innovative approach. Her work, often featuring bold colors and typography, addressed themes of love, hope, and justice, resonating deeply during the civil rights movement and the Vietnam War era. Corita's art continues to influence with its powerful blend of beauty, faith, and activism, making her an enduring figure in both art and social justice communities.

In-house shipping is available for coins, jewelry, and sterling. Please note a $10 handling fee is added to the cost of shipping. Additionally, all shipments require full insurance & signature required. 

All other items will be shipped through our local UPS service. Once your items are ready to ship, you will receive an invoice directly from UPS. 

If you wish to use your own shipping provider or choose to use a third party for pickup, please notify us no later than 2 days post auction.

We require that the shipping address match the registered billing address of the credit card used for payment. If buyer needs an item shipped to an alternate address, then payment must be made by wire transfer. All shipments must be fully insured/ declared at their full purchase price. The recipient is responsible for any/all packing costs, shipping costs, duties, taxes, fees, etc. International shipments are a case by case basis and must be pre-approved by SebastianCharles.
