About Shepard Fairey
Shepard Fairey (born 1970) is an American contemporary street artist, graphic designer, activist, and illustrator who emerged from the skateboarding scene. He first became known for his "Andre the Giant Has a Posse" sticker campaign, which transformed into the OBEY Giant art project. Fairey's work often uses mixed media and a bold, graphic style influenced by propaganda art. He is known for his politically charged images and murals, often incorporating social commentary and messages of hope and change. His iconic "Hope" portrait of Barack Obama became a symbol of the 2008 presidential campaign.
Available payment options
In-house shipping is available for coins, jewelry, and sterling. Please note a $10 handling fee is added to the cost of shipping. Additionally, all shipments require full insurance & signature required.
All other items will be shipped through our local UPS service. Once your items are ready to ship, you will receive an invoice directly from UPS.
If you wish to use your own shipping provider or choose to use a third party for pickup, please notify us no later than 2 days post auction.
We require that the shipping address match the registered billing address of the credit card used for payment. If buyer needs an item shipped to an alternate address, then payment must be made by wire transfer. All shipments must be fully insured/ declared at their full purchase price. The recipient is responsible for any/all packing costs, shipping costs, duties, taxes, fees, etc. International shipments are a case by case basis and must be pre-approved by SebastianCharles.
