This rare offering is the earliest masterpiece of social contract theory written shortly after the conclusion of the English Civil War and the beheading of Charles I.

This book is professionally leather bound in 20th-century Russet Morocco and is in very good to excellent condition. It is complete in all respects, the hinges are very strong, and the binding is essentially without wear. The leaves show occasional spotting and toning throughout.

In-house shipping is available for coins, jewelry, and sterling. Please note a $10 handling fee is added to the cost of shipping. Additionally, all shipments require full insurance & signature required.
All other items will be shipped through our local UPS service. Once your items are ready to ship, you will receive an invoice directly from UPS.
If you wish to use your own shipping provider or choose to use a third party for pickup, please notify us no later than 2 days post auction.
We require that the shipping address match the registered billing address of the credit card used for payment. If buyer needs an item shipped to an alternate address, then payment must be made by wire transfer. All shipments must be fully insured/ declared at their full purchase price. The recipient is responsible for any/all packing costs, shipping costs, duties, taxes, fees, etc. International shipments are a case by case basis and must be pre-approved by SebastianCharles.
