Paul Granlund is an American sculptor known for his figurative bronze works created throughout the mid- to late-20th century. Born in 1925, he developed a studio practice rooted in classical proportion while exploring movement, emotion, and spiritual themes through cast bronze. Granlund served as the longtime sculptor-in-residence at Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota, where he produced a large body of work ranging from small studies to monumental public commissions. His sculptures are defined by fluid modeling, expressive form, and an emphasis on the human figure, reflecting his interest in anatomy, gesture, and the sculptural traditions of modern American bronze casting.
