Pre-bidding is now open for our Rock & Roll: Guitars, Amps, & Albums auction, featuring pieces by Gibson, Fender, Martin, and Dean, along with amplifiers, vinyls, and a range of additional music equipment. Highlights include a 1971 Black Fender Stratocaster, a Gibson Double Neck 12 String, and two guitars signed by ZZ Top band members. Auction is June 2nd @ 1 pm CDT. English, mid-19th century. The interior label states "Jo: Baptista Ceruti Cremonensis fecit Cremonae An 1802," although it is not believed to be a Ceruti.  The case is modern and not the original. Paperwork is included. 

Dimensions: Approx. 23" long 

 

Condition: The violin requires repairs to be playable. The strings and bow are missing, and the tailpiece is detached but included in the case. The pegs and end piece are not attached but are stored in the case. There is no chin rest. The wood exhibits signs of wear throughout. It appears that some repairs have already been made to the violin.

No problem — just let us know within 2 days of the auction closing if you plan to:

  • Use your own shipping provider
  • Arrange for a third-party pickup

We'll make sure your items are ready to go when they are.
