Michael Levin (born 1971) is a Canadian fine art photographer known for his minimalist black-and-white landscapes and seascapes. Working primarily with long exposure techniques, Levin captures tranquil scenes that transform water and sky into soft, ethereal forms, emphasizing balance, tone, and geometry. His compositions often feature solitary structures such as piers, bridges, or pilings, creating a meditative sense of stillness. Influenced by Japanese aesthetics and modernist design, Levin’s work explores the relationship between manmade form and natural environment, highlighting light and time as central subjects.
