Art Nouveau rounded rectangular dining table and chairs. The set includes the table with three extension leaves, five side chairs, and two armchairs. Also included is Christie’s catalog, which features the listing for this set from December 16, 1996.

Provenance: Christie's Auction Sale, December 16, 1996.
Condition: The table is in good overall condition with light scratches and some nicks consistent with age and use. The chairs are structurally sound, except for one with a loose backrest where it connects to the seat. The upholstery shows signs of wear, including rips, tears, and spotting due to age and use.
About: Louis Majorelle (1859–1926) was a leading French furniture designer associated with the Art Nouveau movement. Based in Nancy, he was known for elegant forms, botanical motifs, and expert marquetry. A founding member of the Ecole de Nancy, his work played a central role in the development of decorative arts during the Belle Epoque.
