Artist Bio:
Kevin Red Star is a celebrated Native American artist born in 1943 in Lodge Grass, Montana, on the Crow Indian Reservation. He is a member of the Crow tribe, and his artwork deeply reflects his cultural heritage. Red Star's work often features themes from his Native American roots, including traditional Crow culture, history, and landscapes. Red Star attended the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he honed his skills and developed his distinctive style. His art is characterized by vibrant colors, strong lines, and symbolic elements that convey the spirituality and rich traditions of the Crow people. He often portrays warriors, horses, and ceremonial attire, blending historical accuracy with contemporary techniques. Over his career, Kevin Red Star has gained widespread recognition and his work has been exhibited in numerous galleries and museums across the United States and internationally. He is considered one of the leading figures in contemporary Native American art and has received various awards for his contributions to the art world. Available payment options
In-house shipping is available for coins, jewelry, and sterling. Please note a $10 handling fee is added to the cost of shipping. Additionally, all shipments require full insurance & signature required.
All other items will be shipped through our local UPS service. Once your items are ready to ship, you will receive an invoice directly from UPS.
If you wish to use your own shipping provider or choose to use a third party for pickup, please notify us no later than 2 days post auction.
We require that the shipping address match the registered billing address of the credit card used for payment. If buyer needs an item shipped to an alternate address, then payment must be made by wire transfer. All shipments must be fully insured/ declared at their full purchase price. The recipient is responsible for any/all packing costs, shipping costs, duties, taxes, fees, etc. International shipments are a case by case basis and must be pre-approved by SebastianCharles.
