Unframed: 12" x 14 3/4"

Condition: 1.5" black mark in the upper center. Minor fraying around the sides and a light crease to the bottom right corner.

Artist Bio: Durett Woodward Stokes (1881–1967) was an American artist renowned for his landscape paintings and portraiture. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Stokes initially pursued a banking career before studying at the Cincinnati Art Academy under artists such as C.A. Lord and L.H. Meakin. He later taught at Cedarville College in Ohio. In 1909, Stokes relocated to Jacksonville, Florida, where he became a prominent figure in the local art scene, founding the Centennial Art Club and establishing the Southwood Galleries. His works often depict Florida landscapes and are held in collections like the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the National Portrait Gallery.

In-house shipping is available for coins, jewelry, and sterling. Please note a $10 handling fee is added to the cost of shipping. Additionally, all shipments require full insurance & signature required. All other items will be shipped through our local UPS service. Once your items are ready to ship, you will receive an invoice directly from UPS. If you wish to use your own shipping provider or choose to use a third party for pickup, please notify us no later than 2 days post auction. We require that the shipping address match the registered billing address of the credit card used for payment. If buyer needs an item shipped to an alternate address, then payment must be made by wire transfer. All shipments must be fully insured/ declared at their full purchase price. The recipient is responsible for any/all packing costs, shipping costs, duties, taxes, fees, etc. International shipments are a case by case basis and must be pre-approved by SebastianCharles.
