Very detailed large bronze bust of a color-highlighted mountain man wearing a beaver hat on a marble base. Signed and numbered at back of base #8/30. The sculpture measures 27"H x 20"W. Good condition with no issues seen. Burl Jones, born and raised in West Virginia, abandoned a successful career as a dentist to devote himself to his bronze sculptures. His work focuses on outdoor and western themes, such as hunting, fishing, mountain men, and, of course, American Indians.
