Condition: Acid burn seen on the edge of both pieces, as well as 2 areas of discoloration on the etching of Nez Perce Matron.
Artist Bio:
Curtis was a photographer and author best known for his monumental work documenting the Native American peoples and cultures of the early 20th century. His magnum opus, "The North American Indian," stands as one of the most comprehensive visual records of Indigenous life in the United States. Curtis was also a skilled ethnologist and linguist, conducting extensive research on the customs, languages, and rituals of the tribes he encountered. His deep respect for Indigenous traditions and his commitment to preserving their cultural heritage remain invaluable, ensuring that future generations will continue to appreciate and learn from his remarkable body of work.

In-house shipping is available for coins, jewelry, and sterling. Please note a $10 handling fee is added to the cost of shipping. Additionally, all shipments require full insurance & signature required.
All other items will be shipped through our local UPS service. Once your items are ready to ship, you will receive an invoice directly from UPS.
If you wish to use your own shipping provider or choose to use a third party for pickup, please notify us no later than 2 days post auction.
We require that the shipping address match the registered billing address of the credit card used for payment. If buyer needs an item shipped to an alternate address, then payment must be made by wire transfer. All shipments must be fully insured/ declared at their full purchase price. The recipient is responsible for any/all packing costs, shipping costs, duties, taxes, fees, etc. International shipments are a case by case basis and must be pre-approved by SebastianCharles.
