About: Jennings Silver Co. worked in Newark, New Jersey, from about 1906 and then in Irvington, New Jersey, from 1908 into the 1940s. It was principally a maker of silverplated wares, producing only a small quantity of sterling flatware, and it also supplied sterling mounts for glass dresser wares and small hollowware. The firm is thinly documented, its output known chiefly from surviving marked examples rather than from published pattern records. Sterling flatware bearing its mark is comparatively uncommon.
